- Emily Rapp
Emily was born in Nebraska and grew up in Wyoming and Colorado. Born with a congenital defect, her left foot was amputated at 4 years of age, and she has worn a prosthetic limb ever since. After serving as a former DAC member, she was a Fulbright scholarship recipient, was educated at Harvard University, Saint Olaf College, Trinity College-Dublin, and the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a James A. Michener Fellow. Not only is Emily Rapp a member of the definitely abled community, she is also the mother of a definitely abled baby son, Ronan. Ronan is almost certainly going to die before he turns three; he was born with Tay-Sachs, a genetic disease for which there is no cure. Emily has received many awards and recognition and is currently professor of Creative Writing and Literature at the Santa Fe University of Art & Design in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

- Hans Peterson
Born and raised in Alaska, Hans began his life in the Midwest at Luther College. Since graduation he toured with a musical group to West Africa, worked as a youth director/contemporary worship coordinator in Stewartville, Minn., lived in an artist cooperative, and served in a Catholic Worker house of hospitality. Hans' interest in learning and love for music led him to United Seminary (UCC) where he completed a masters degree of theology in the arts. He ventures out as a solo artist and with the Dakota Road band, playing both piano and acoustic guitar. Currently he lives with his wife Heidi, and their sons Nelson and Simon on her family's farm near Jordan, Minn. When he is not singing songs, he is picking berries, keeping bees and harvesting hazelnuts.
- Hannah Kalisch
Hannah began playing violin at age 6, focusing on the fundamental techniques with the Suzuki classical method. At age 15 she began teaching private classical and fiddle lessons and has the privilege of teaching students whose abilities range from beginner to advanced. In addition to teaching, Hannah is the lead fiddler in her family’s bluegrass band “The Kalisch Family,” playing at music festivals, weddings and other venues. Aside from the family band, she has performed for five seasons in Lowell Lundstroms‘ “A Country Christmas Celebration” and in 2010 recorded and toured with Lorie Line in the “Making Spirits Bright” Holiday Tour. Today Hannah lives in Lonsdale, Minn., and spends much of her time instilling passion for music and violin within dozens of students across the Twin Cities Metro area.
- Scott Jibben
Scott is a musician/songwriter as well as a partner and recording engineer at Pulse River Studio. Word of caution: Don't make fun of his huge biceps, or his vast knowledge on 17th-century South-Eastern politics — he has a complex about both of those things.
