ALGO ACERCA DE LA PASTORA IVIS
La Rvda. Dra. Ivis LaRiviere-Mestre es Directora Auxiliar para Evangelismo y Directora de Evangelismo Latino y Programas Multilingües. Ella es responsable de coordinar el programa de alcance evangelístico latino en la unidad de Alcance Evangelístico y Misión Congregacional (AEMC) de la Iglesia Evangélica Luterana en América (IELA). Tiene responsabilidades de colaborar con los sínodos de la región 5 y 6 como parte del equipo de trabajo de H.O.P.E. (Programa de Ejecutivos de Alcance Hispano).
Ella es miembro del equipo que trabaja en el desarrollo de recursos multilingües. Además, la pastora Ivis coordina el trabajo del proyecto de Formación congregacional de liderazgo latino/hispano. Este proyecto busca apoyar la formación de líderes latino-luteranos y fomentar una conversación sobre el tema del desarrollo de liderazgo latino en la Iglesia Evangélica Luterana en América (IELA).
SOMETHING ABOUT PASTORA IVIS
The Rev. Dr Ivis LaRiviere-Mestre is Assistant Director for Evangelism and Director Latino Evangelism and Programs Multilingual. She coordinates the outreach of Latino evangelism in the unit of Evangelical Outreach and Congregational Mission (EOCM) of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). She is also responsible for working in region 5 and 6 as member of the H.O.P.E. team (Hispanic Outreach Program Executives).
She is a member of the Multicultural Resource Management Team. She chairs the Congregational Latino/Hispanic Lay Leadership Formation working group. The project seeks to support the formation of Latino Lutheran leaders and foster a conversation on the theme of Latino leadership development in the ELCA.
