Revival

Revival is the work of the Holy Spirit, invigorating, molding, and shaping congregants to do the will of God. In Lutheran revival, we desire God’s Spirit to rekindle in us the spirit of joy, hope, peace, and love. In Lutheran revival services, we ask that these gifts be stirred up for the sake of mission and ministry, equipping our congregations as places where witnessing to the Good News is a way of life.

This video tells the story of Lutheran revival, narrated by former ELCA Presiding Bishop H. George Anderson, tracks prayer and revival in the Bible, in Lutheran history, and in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America today.
