Key Leadership Team Roles

 

What is the Make-Up of the Leadership Team?

A vital component of the success of every Stewardship Key Leader program is the congregation's Leadership Team. In addition to the pastor, Leadership Team members are:

General Chairperson
Oversees and coordinates the work of the entire committee and works closely with the Stewardship Key Leader and pastor to implement the timeline. This person acts as a spokesperson for the team to the entire congregation.


Communications Chairperson
Supervises all mailings, e-mail and telephone contacts with members.


Hospitality Chairperson

Oversees hospitality for all meetings


Spiritual Emphasis Chairperson

Implements the prayer vigil, all talks in worship and adult bible studies


Children and Youth Chairperson
Uses SKL materials to lead involvement of children and youth in the program


Advance Contacts Chairperson
Organizes teams who contact selected individuals either through personal visits or small group meetings


Follow Up Chairperson
Oversees necessary follow-up after Commitment Weekend
