Dates and Times 
Conference programming will begin on campus on Tuesday morning, February 02 at 8:30 AM, after a complimentary breakfast at the Hampton and will conclude with an evening of Southern Hospitality at Newberry College on Wednesday, February 03. Please use Monday, February 1 and Thursday, February 4 as your travel days. NOTE: The 2010 conference is being held in conjunction with the ELCA Youth Ministry Network’s Youth Extravaganza, which will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina beginning Friday, February 5. See the Extravaganza site.
Travel Subsidy
For those church relations officers for whom a travel subsidy would make the difference between being able to attend or not, the Vocation and Education unit of the ELCA is pleased to offer travel assistance. If a travel subsidy is requested to attend the conference, please contact Marilyn Olson or Kathie Baker before booking your flights, which must be made through Best Travel 800/543-8016.
Please note: Participants are responsible for such expenses as (1) registration fee (2) ground transportation, including taxi or car rental (3) hotel costs and incidentals, and (4) no-host meals and activities.
Registration Fees
Registration fees assist with the cost of some of the conference meals and contribute toward programming. If possible, please include payment with your registration. If not, the completed registration form may be faxed or emailed with a note that fee will follow. Please make checks payable to ELCA with “CRConf 2010” and participant last name noted on the memo line. (Sorry, but we are unable to accept credit cards.) Guests
Guests who register before January 15th are welcome to join us for all meal functions. Although there is no guest registration fee, the guest meals are in addition to the participant’s registration.

GETTING TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT
If you are planning to attend the Youth Ministry Network Extravaganza in Charlotte, you will want to use that airport. If not, check out the Columbia (about 40 miles) or Greenville-Spartanburg (about 80 miles) airports (both in SC), for the best rates. There is no shuttle service from any of the airports. You will need to rent a car or call the hotel regarding the best taxi service and rates. Parking at the Hampton Inn is free.
MONDAY EVENING DINNER “ON YOUR OWN” 
If you arrive in time for dinner on Monday evening, February 1, a group can gather in the lobby of the Hampton Inn about 6 PM to go to dinner together. Suggestions from host John Derrick will be offered. Due to significant churchwide budget cuts, there will be no ELCA-sponsored meal; however, we are grateful to LECNA for sponsoring the dinner on Tuesday evening and to Newberry College’s office of church relations for sponsoring Wednesday evening’s dinner and evening of Southern hospitality.
