With 78 majors to choose from, one-on-one research opportunities with faculty and a nationally recognized study abroad program, Concordia is committed to preparing students to make a meaningful impact in our global society.

Concordia is a private four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America with more than 2,700 students from 35 states and 33 countries. Concordia employs 220 full-time faculty members from all parts of the country with expertise ranging from medicine, journalism and environmental studies to languages and religion. Most professors hold the highest degrees in their fields.

In addition to our 78 majors and 18 honors majors in 24 academic departments, Concordia offers 12 pre-professional programs including dentistry, engineering, law, medicine, seminary and veterinary medicine among others. Concordia grants Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music degrees as well as a Master of Science degree in nursing in conjunction with Minnesota State University Moorhead and North Dakota State University, Fargo.

One of only five recipients in the nation of the prestigious Senator Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization, Concordia is one of the top 10 U.S. liberal arts colleges for the number of students who gain global experience studying abroad. Students can select from programs that travel for 10 days or up to an academic year.

A full member of the National Association of Schools of Music, Concordia has long been recognized nationally for its outstanding contributions to the broad musical spectrum. Students can participate in 16 music organizations, and more than 700 private lessons are taken each week.
