Annual Candle Lighting Service for Mental Illness
The All-Lutheran Candle Lighting for Mental Illness will be held during the month of October. On the Sunday of their choice, Lutheran congregations are encouraged to light a candle and pray for persons with mental illness and for their families.

The Lutheran Network on Mental Illness/Brain Disorders is a joint program of the ELCA and LCMS to assist faith communities to work effectively with persons with mental illness and their families, to educate about mental illness and to combat stigma.
