The Lutheran Network for Mental Illness / Brain Disorders is a joint effort of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod. Our purpose id to assist Lutheran congregations toward more effective responses to individuals with mental illnesses or brain disorders and their families.

What We Do:

  • confront stigma
  • advocate on behalf of individuals with serious mental illnesses and their families
  • provide informational resource materials to families, pastors, and congregations
  • sponsor an annual candlelighting service
  • support continuing education
