Who We Are The Lutheran Network for Mental Illness / Brain Disorders is a joint effort of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod. Our purpose id to assist Lutheran congregations toward more effective responses to individuals with mental illnesses or brain disorders and their families.
What We Do:
- confront stigma
- advocate on behalf of individuals with serious mental illnesses and their families
- provide informational resource materials to families, pastors, and congregations
- sponsor an annual candlelighting service
- support continuing education
