Best Practices

There are many experts and many “so called” experts in a variety of ministry fields. The best expert and the most knowledgeable resource is most often the person who has actually practiced what they preach. That means that YOU, the reader, is actually the best expert when it comes to the practical application of ministry ideas.

What have you experienced in your large congregation setting that was a benefit to your ministry? What idea worked for you? What unique innovation did you pioneer in your ministry setting that is worth sharing for the good of all?

We learn from one another. Share your “Best Practices” on this website. Tell us of an experience, idea, activity, direction, model, matrix, decision, practice that worked for you. If it worked for you, it will work for others and it’s worth sharing. We’re in this together. Pass your best practices on for the good of all.

Submit your best practices to Rev. Mark Grorud, ELCA Director for Relationships with Large Membership Congregations at:
