Site Manager at Camp Yolijwa and Luther Glen Conference Center in Oak Glen, CA
Responsibilities
Share in ministry by overseeing the grounds and maintenance of Yolijwa; report to the camp director and work with the Yolijwa Property Committee; provide
age appropriate service opportunities for campers; visit with church groups to plan volunteer work events for the camp; complete on-site repairs and eliminate safety hazards; contact professionals when necessary; oversee all pool maintenance; keep current records on all buildings and equipment; keep a list of needs and projects that need to happen; keep vehicles in proper working order; order equipment and supplies as needed; maintain a workable and productive schedule; attend weekly staff meetings; other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Capable, mechanically oriented person with good communication skills; must have skills in building trades (electrical, plumbing, paint, construction, etc.) organized and self motivated; share in the Christian faith and values of the organization.

Lutherans Outdoors in SD is seeking and exceptional leader to serve as Camp Director for Outlaw Ranch and Atlantic Mountain Ranch. The Camp Director is responsible for the management and continued development of Outlaw and Atlantic Mountain Ranches - both located nearCuster in the Black Hills of SD. The main functions include:
- all aspects of staff supervision and camp operations
- overseeing development/delivery of program, seeking to meet needs of users
- developing and fostering ongoing relationships with our users/potential users including marketing and financial development
The camp director is also to see that Christian theology consistent with that of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is modeled in all programs and to provide for spiritual renewal of staff. Lutheridge+Lutherock Ministries is seeking to establish a new position of Vice-President for Program and Guest Relations. This part-time position will help lead the program development of Lutheranch (newly acquired site in Georgia), the year-round program development of Lutherock, and expansion of programs at the new 500-person capacity Faith Center at Lutheridge. The Vice-President shall have extensive experience, understanding and enthusiasm for the unique ministry of church camps and conference centers. S/he shall have knowledge and skills for staff supervision and growth, program design and implementation, working with volunteers and committees, directing guest services and marketing/public relations. The Vice-President shall be responsible for various year-round program matters, guest relations, and staff. The position shall be a part-time, .5 FTE position, with benefits negotiated as contained in LLMI personnel policies.
