Director for Ministries for Park River Bible Camp located in Park River, North Dakota

Park River Bible Camp is a camp and retreat ministry for all ages that encourages a faith relationship with Jesus Christ through Bible study, worship, music, and fellowship.

Responsibilities
Church & Community Relations; administration & Personnel Management; planning; financial Development; program Leadership; board/Committee Relations.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required. Must be computer-literate. Able to obtain a valid North Dakota driver’s license; experience working in a camp setting or related church setting with youth and families is expected; individual should also have experience in administration and supervision of staff; seminary training from a Lutheran seminary is desirable but not necessary; must be knowledge or educated in specific areas relevant to PRBC operations such as: human resources, education and program development, fundraising, accounting, and outdoor ministry is desirable.

Associate Director for Camp Amnicon located in South Range, Wisconsin

Responsibilities
Along with the directors, represent the camp both in person and in written medium, including monthly newsletter, publicity & promotional materials; participate in and assist with implementing and evaluating overall program ministries of Camp Amnicon including: 
group and summer staff recruitment providing organization, training and leadership to the summer program and summer staff; program coordination and hospitality with retreat and hermitage guests; building congregational relationships; resource development; maintain and care for facilities and property as it relates to the overall ministry; participate in annual special events; maintain statistical records & reports; manage the camp’s database; maintain compliance with the American Camping Association, State of Wisconsin and policies, standards and procedures of Camp Amnicon.

Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age with one or more years of camp experience; preferred four year college degree; must have a valid Driver’s License; must have maturity, strong communication; interpersonal skills, organizational and leadership skills;  must have an understanding of Christian hospitality and servant leadership and a familiarity with Lutheran theology; creativity, approachability and flexibility are important attributes for this position along with good judgment and a professional attitude; must have a comfort level and experience with wilderness tripping skills; proficient in computer software operations and management.

Compensation
Compensation and benefits will be determined and based on experience and education through the guidelines of the Camp Amnicon Compensation and Benefit Structure

The Board of Holden Village seeks an individual or team whose experience has prepared them to lead this complex and widely influential ministry through a time of change in a way that embodies and pursues the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of Holden Village. The term of service would begin, ideally, on September 1, 2010; its usual length is five years. By-Laws state that the Executive Director(s) shall be Lutheran; they may be rostered or not rostered.
