Positions might include programming retreats, hosting groups, environmental education, site preparation, maintenance and hospitality. Congregational Ministry Intern for Luther Point Bible Camp located in Grantsburg, Wisconsin

Responsibilities
This team of 4-5 interns will partner with local congregations by providing engaging youth ministry opportunities and promoting Luther Point. Each intern will also serve in one of four areas: Volunteers, Marketing/Public Relations, Special Events, Program Development. Qualifications
Candidates should have youth ministry experience, have served at least one summer on Luther Point Summer Staff, and have at least one year post-high school experience. Candidates should also be hospitable, flexible, energetic, willing to serve in a variety of capacities, and possess strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Compensation
Monthly stipend, food, and lodging

Deadline
March 15, 2011 to be considered for Summer Staff positions. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until all positions are full. Intern positions are September 6, 2011 through May 18, 2012.

Program Assistant Internships for Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp located in Hillside, Colorado

Responsibilities
This two-year semester is designed to provide participants an opportunity to experience all aspects of year-round outdoor ministry and to experience the partnership between outdoor ministry and the synods, congregations and other organizations of the ELCA.   Retreat hosting, program planning, administrative clerical work, staff recruitment and facilities maintenance are part of the responsibility.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a Christian man or woman with a passion for the Gospel and for the value of camp and retreat ministries for people of all ages.  Must be outgoing and excited about meeting new people and building relationships.   Self motivated, organized in individuals with great interpersonal skills will excel.

Compensation
Monthly stipend, food stipend, housing and utilties, monthly training session.

Outdoor Education Instructor, Lutherhaven Ministries (Camp Lutherhaven & Shoshone Base Camp) in Coeur, d'Alene, Idaho


We are now hiring for April and May of 2011 and will begin hiring for Spetember though October of 2011 in June.

Responsibilities
Group leader and teacher in one, two and three day residential programs; develop and present outdoor classes; group building; special projects and light housekeeping; evening activities and mealtime duties.

Qualifications
Affirm basic Lutheran Christian values and strongly support the goals of Lutherhaven Ministries; work within the structure of an association ministry, compatible with ELCA, LCMS and secular constituents; positive attitude; energetic, dedicated, and able to become involved in all aspects of the program; foster a lifestyle of stewardship for creation; commitment to children and outdoor learning; experience working with children is preferred; teaching experience is not required, but a background in science is helpful; special skills, like music, singing, storytelling, drama, and group facilitating helpful.

Terms
Ongoing Recruitment for fall, winter and spring outdoor education sessions. Support staff/kitchen assistant positions are also available.

Compensation
Up to $250 per week, based on experience, with possible additional paid hours available on weekends at your request; full room and board.
