Less Active Nature Studies

Creation for Kids in Church Camps

Every group that stops by the nature pavilion at Kirchenwald has had a different schedule during the day. Some have just come from arts and crafts, but others have been out canoeing on the river for most of the day. The energy level of the two groups obviously differs dramatically, so it is important for the naturalist to have nature studies that use varying degrees of physical energy. These activities are all designed for use with a group that is less active or ready for a bit of thinking for whatever reason. They are also good to keep on hand for rainy days when the running games might be a bit sloppy on wet grass.
