Sense Activities

Many people have underdeveloped senses and therefore only perceive a fraction of their environments. I often do sense focused activities early in the week to help campers to more fully enjoy their time at camp by more fully observing the creation. Observing with the senses is primarily exploration of God's creation, so all of these activities can be lead within the context of asking what it means that God provides so many different ways to explore creation and to explore God in the process. By exploring their senses more fully, campers and staff come to more fully appreciate the gift of the senses which God has given to them.
