The LWF Regional Office in North America is governed by the larger body of the Lutheran World Federation. The highest decision-making body of the LWF is its Assembly, which is normally held every six years. The next Assembly will be held in Stuttgart, Germany in 2010. Between Assemblies the LWF is governed by a Council, which convenes annually, and by its Executive Committee, which also serves as the LWF Board of Trustees and LWF Personnel Committee.
