Advent: A Season for All Generations
This new, two-part Advent program can be used by a group of any size. You’ll discuss various Advent customs and explore the biblical figures of the season, such as Zechariah and Elizabeth, Simeon and Anna, and Joseph and Mary.Use it with your regular study group or as a special Advent Bible study group. Each part takes about 20 to 45 minutes and includes prayer, hymns, Scripture, narration, and discussion.


Two Florida Women of the ELCA units show different, new ways of engaging in ministry and action
The women at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Boca Raton are willing to try new ventures, according to their president, Helen Nienstedt. So they recently started a prayer shawl ministry and something they call "Junk in the Trunk."
