President Beth Wrenn addresses the ELCA Churchwide Assembly
In case you missed it on streaming video during the Churchwide Assembly in August, you can view President Beth Wrenn's address here on our Web site.
"I am proud to be a part of a church that knows the importance of doing God's work with our hands, not only here but around the world," she said.
"And I feel that same kind of pride when I think about the over 7,000 congregational units of Women of the ELCA who come together to grow in faith while working tirelessly to fulfill what our Mission Statement calls us to do: to mobilize women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ."
Annual stewardship resources available One of the leaders in your congregational unit should have received in the mail by now a packet containing the 2009-2010 Stewardship Planning Guide and Thankoffering Service, plus a few other items. Both are also available on our Web site for download. Click here for both pieces. You can make as many copies of the guide and service as you need.
