Program resources for Advent and Christmas
In our short, two-part Advent program, Advent: A Season for All Generations, you'll discuss various customs of the season and explore the biblical figures of Advent, such as Zechariah and Elizabeth, Simeon and Anna, and Joseph and Mary.

The Colors of Christmas takes a look at some of the customs around one of our favorite celebrations to help us better understand how our traditions began and the meaning behind them.

Download one or both programs today to enhance your study and fellowship time this December.

Speaking Faith Through ArtSpeaking Faith through Art

Explore how one's deepest convictions can be expressed through art by looking at the work of two Christian artists from different centuries.

Lucas Cranach was a painter, propagandist, printer and illustrator during the Reformation. Sister Corita Kent was a nun who used her artistic gifts to communicate her commitment to the anti-war and civil rights movements of the 1950s and 60s.

2011 Triennial Gathering news:
in-kind gifts and banner project

TG 11 In-kind gifts are about relationships and partnerships, and they are a way for all women to participate in the triennial gathering, whether attending the event or not. We'll be collecting, assembling and distributing health kits, school kits, quilt kits, phone cards, gift cards and socks. Focus on one kind of gift, or collect all of them. It's your choice. Learn more.

During the gathering, artist and seminarian Mary Button will interpret our theme—Renew, Respond, Rejoice!—by creating banners in the exhibit hall. You are invited to submit a photograph responding to the gathering theme and Philippians 4:4. You do not have to attend the gathering to submit a photograph. Learn more.
