Celebrate Bold Women's Day Lutheran women acting boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ are everywhere and come from all walks of life. Some are professionals with careers, some are homemakers and caregivers, and most volunteer many hours for both their church and community. Some are bold in conspicuous and visible ways, while others are bold in quiet yet strong ways.
Bold Women's Day celebrates the many and diverse ways Lutheran women act boldly on their faith. Celebrate Bold Women's Day with us on Sunday, February 28.

Raising Up Healthy Women and Girls: Women of the ELCA's health initiativeWe are committed by our purpose statement to promoting healing and wholeness in our church, society, and world. Making a real difference in the total health of women begins at the "heart" of the matter: being physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy and balanced women.
When we commit to caring for ourselves, we can then commit to God's command to make disciples in the world and serve others. Healthy women can produce healthy families, churches and communities, and can develop healthy, more just, and more holistic societies.

Upcoming LWT Bible studies The Lutheran Woman Today 2010-2011 Bible study (September 2010 through May 2011) will explore topics under the theme The People of God: Unity in the Midst of Diversity.
