Give to Katie's Fund

Katharina von Bora Luther was a practical and bold woman of faith. She was also the dedicated partner of her husband, Martin. The example she set as a mother, entrepreneur, and farmer continues to inspire us today.
Katie's Fund began as a endowment fund in 1997 with gifts given in thanks for the first 10 years of Women of the ELCA ministries. To date, interest earned on the fund has provided leadership opportunities for young women at triennial gatherings and global networking on behalf of the organization. It has also supported our participation in ELCA National Youth Gatherings and human trafficking advocacy training.
It can continue to do all these things and more, because now Katie's Fund includes an option that allows you to make gifts to meet more immediate needs or to help grow the fund's endowment.
Gifts to the fund are available for ministries in three key areas:
Leadership Development: providing opportunities for current and future leaders to participate in and further the mission of Women of the ELCA.
Global Sharing: building global partnerships that increase multicultural awareness and promote service projects.
Living Theology: nurturing faith through Bible studies, worship experiences, and educational theological forums.

Stewardship Programs for small groups
Grace-Full Living
With this resource, we continue to focus on women’s health in all its many facets. If we look at our complete and total health holistically, doesn’t it make sense to include our financial health in that picture? Do we ponder how financial health and giving are integral to our wellbeing?
Our giving demonstrates our confidence in the ministry of the church, and our motivations for giving connect us with one another and with God’s means of grace in order that we may truly embrace the notion of grace-full living.

Faithful Stewardship:
An Offerings Report

Faithful stewardship is a principle that we are committed to by our organization’s constitution. Women of the ELCA operates almost solely on your offerings. This report shows how we use the gifts you entrust to us and summarizes the ways you can give to Women of the ELCA.

All About Thankofferings

This program will help you better understand the history and significance of Women of the ELCA’s Thankoffering tradition. Did you know that the concept of Thankoffering celebrations dates back more than 100 years and beyond Lutherans?
Thankofferings show gratitude for God’s blessings and give us an important and tangible way to express that gratitude. It is a tradition grounded in our celebration of community, of meeting together to joyfully give thanks for what God has given us.
