LYO restructuring update

The Lutheran Youth Organization has been undergoing a study and restructuring process since 2007.

The new LYO Restructuring Team will be posting updates on this page beginning November 2009 with “mini surveys” for people across the ELCA to provide input on particular areas of change that will be considered.

Thank you for taking 10-minutes out of your day to contribute to the restructuring process of the Lutheran Youth Organization! The work is currently focused on establishing strong vision and mission statements. Then in 2010, the work will be focused on revising the organizational structure to support the new vision and mission statements. There will be opportunities for online feedback at all major future steps of this process.

The online survey includes an opportunity for you to provide additional comments at the end. There is also an option for you to share your name (not required). This survey will be up through November 30, 2009. Please respond before then, and pass this link on to your friends and colleagues. The Restructuring Team is hoping to receive a strong number of respondents to help us consider all the important implications of our work.
