Who benefits?

Colleges are underwriting many of the expenses for the event so that the money raised can go directly to ELCA World Hunger. Prior to the event, the artists are challenging each participant to raise $20 (with a portion going to a local charitable organization). If each participant raises $20, the total raised will be over $50,000 to be used in incredible ways to fight world hunger. Prizes will be given to the individuals and groups that raise the most money. LOST AND FOUND

Rachel Kurtz

Agape (David Scherer) has worked for justice both locally and globally through his ministry Hip Hop Outreach.

7 years ago, David helped found JUMP (Joint Urban Ministries in Praise), an organization that works with urban youth to develop leadership through the arts. David has traveled to El Salvador, where he learned about liberation theology and how the Christian church is at the center of social change. After returning from El Salvador, he had the vision to start Jesus Justice Jazz: The Tour because he felt God calling him to equip young people to be justice advocates in the world. www.hiphopoutreach.com
Attending a LOST AND FOUND performance is an event like no other.

Michael Bridges and George Baum combine their unique musical style with their humorous storytelling to connect in a personal way with each of their listeners. In addition to performing for hundreds of thousands of youth over the years, Michael and George have had the privilege of traveling to Peru and Rwanda through their partnerships with various charitable agencies. They are excited to share their stories of how they try to live a life of Jesus-centered justice. www.speedwood.com
