Servant Companion schedule and training overview
Sunday, July 19: Arrive in New Orleans by 4:00pm. Go directly to Tulane University
where you will be greeted, have dinner, and begin your work.
Monday, July 20: All Servant Companions (SC) will stay at Tulane University for training and meals (all day).
Tuesday, July 21: All SC will be transported to Morial Convention Center from Tulane for the morning worship and then go to their respective Serving Areas. ServantLife will use this time for safety and security training, team information, and launch practice. Dinner in the city on your own.
Wednesday, July 22: ServantLife SC will stay at Tulane all day for training. Interaction Center and Learning SC will be transported to Morial Convention Center for training or to work on helping set up and open the Interaction Center.
Thursday, July 23 -- Saturday, July 25: All SC will be scheduled for bus pick-ups that will take you to either your launch location or the Convention Center depending on your schedule and assignments.
Sunday, July 26: All SC are invited to take the street car to the Superdome for the Gathering's closing worship.
Serving the youth of the church is a vocational calling that requires careful discernment. Every volunteer who serves at the Gathering must agree to:
