Call Process

This final step includes a churchwide assignment process for approved candidates in which they are assigned to a synod of this church based on the ministry needs of the church. They are then available for a Letter of Call for service in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Tools for the Call Process
The process by which a rostered leader (pastor, associate in ministry, diaconal minister or deaconess) in this church moves from one call to a new call is commonly referred to as "mobility." Click here for mobility forms or call your synod office.
