Accomodations will be available at the Renaissance Chicago O’Hare where all conference events will be held. This hotel is conveniently located near O’Hare airport just south of Interstate 90, at 8500 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Chicago, Illinois. To reserve a room at the conference rate, please indicate the days that you need housing when you register. The price of the hotel is not included in the $150 registration fee.

Travel:

Air

The Renaissance hotel, two miles from O’Hare airport, offers a free shuttle bus between the airport and the hotel. Please include your arrival and departure times so that shuttle pick-up and drop-off times can be coordinated.  If you do not have this information at the time of your registration, e-mail Juli Bey with the information before December 15.

If you receive a grant that includes travel expenses, plane tickets must be purchased from Best Travel. (800/638-2440)

Car

When driving, take the I-90 to southbound Cumberland Avenue, exit 79A. Turn right onto W. Bryn Mawr Avenue. Continue on Bryn Mawr as the road curves left. The hotel is on your right in approx. 0.2 miles.

Parking is available at the hotel. A limited number of free parking passes will be available on a first come, first served basis. Please note this preference on your registration form.

Public Transportation

Take the CTA Blue Line Train to the Cumberland stop. As you exit the turnstiles, turn left and walk as far as possible on the above-ground walkway. When you are outside of the station, turn right (west) and follow the sidewalk for approx. 0.1 miles. The Renaissance is a tall, tan building on your left.
