Using This Resource
This catalog is intended both as a resource for churches and programs interested in applying for a domestic hunger grant and also as an educational tool to help synods and congregations share information with their members about ministries supported by ELCA World Hunger in their synods or states.
First, you can access the
hunger grants database and locate grant information by synod or state. Once you have located the information you want, you may either print a copy or you can copy and paste the text into your word-processing program (for use in a bulletin or newsletter text, for example).
Finally, in addition to information about the grants process (including relevant deadlines) and descriptions of current grant recipients, you will find feature stories of grant recipients and criteria to help you determine whether you may be eligible for a grant.
