Alabama Tornado Flooding ... A tornado touched down on Jan. 23, 2012, in central Alabama devastating many communities. As a result of this storm, over 200 homes were destroyed, loss of power has been experienced and roads are blocked due to power lines being down and trees uprooted.

Haiti
When a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck the land of Haiti the ELCA was able to respond quickly. Thanks to our companion church in Haiti, with the support of your donations, the ELCA was able to help the people of Haiti in their time of need—and we will be there for as long as we're needed.
