Blessed Are You Who Are Hungry
A video message from Presiding Bishop Mark S. Hanson
"Blessed are you who are hungry now for you will be filled" (Luke 6:21).
As 2010 comes to a close, ELCA Presiding Bishop Mark S. Hanson is asking for your
generous support for ELCA World Hunger.
"There are more hungry Americans now than in the past 15 years. In this harsh economy, families are hurting. They are hungry. Many of you have personally felt the impact of the economic downturn or know someone who is struggling. It is to you that Jesus' words of promise are spoken," said Hanson.
Give now and double your gift to ELCA World Hunger. Through Dec. 31, 2010, all gifts from individuals will be matched, up to $250,000.
