Living in northern Uganda, Irene Aloyo contracted malaria while she was pregnant. She was at risk of death. Thankfully, she received the treatment she needed to overcome the disease and deliver a healthy baby. Irene and her family also received a bed net from ELCA Malaria Campaign partners. By sleeping under the bed net, she and her family have greatly reduced their risk of contracting malaria in the future. |
