Taking Root: Hunger Causes, Hunger Hopes Curriculum
Taking Root is a complete curriculum for your congregation. The curriculum includes five sessions each for three different age groups: grades 3–6, grades 7–9 (junior high), and grades 10–12 (senior high). All age groups have parallel content, so the biblical texts and themes, children's literature, and many projects and activities are the same among the age levels.

Hunger Education Toolkits
Mix and match activities from this “program in a box” to create an hour-long session that introduces your congregation to ELCA World Hunger. Or you can explore connections between hunger and climate change. The toolkits are ideal for a Sunday morning forum, Sunday school class, or youth group meeting.

Congregation Connections
This congregation-based resource, published twice a year (in each World Hunger Resource Packet), helps congregational leaders integrate hunger themes throughout the congregation. It follows the church calendar to assist people in integrating hunger awareness and engagement all year.
