About the Musical

 

The Race: A Simplicity Musical is the story of Dave, a single parent and hard-working mid-level manager at Biggins and Rude, a large international conglomerate. As might be expected, Dave’s rise to the top brings him into tension with his family, his co-workers, his core values, and his future. Unexpectedly, though, Dave’s questions are sharpened by the appearance of Lily, an old friend from college. In the end, Dave makes hard choices that slow him down but bring new qualities to his life.
