Disaster Responses

One thing that is true for every disater response is that it is local. Lutheran Disaster Response takes this fact seriously, seeing our role as working with communities affected by disasters. Together, we name what assests each community already posses and then looks for ways to supplement these assets with gifts from outside the community. In this process our focus is on helping local congregations and faith communities as they determine how best to continue their role of being the church in the midst of disaster.
