Lutheran Disaster Response has a rich history of responding to disasters. This work encompasses the disaster response work of the ELCA in both the United States and internationally. In both arenas there has been a long commitment to working with local communities in a way that allows them to develop their own response. We have also recently gone through a process of changing our brand to better reflect who we are and how we work. You can learn more about this change and the history of our work.
