David R. Smedley 

David R Smedley is associate director for compliance and training at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. A professional student aid administrator for over a decade, Smedley is a former Lutheran seminarian who has applied for and been accepted to return to a M.Div. program, with aims of focusing on church administration and justice (economic, environmental, and social). He has formerly adjunct taught in urban studies at Temple University and Philadelphia University. Smedley is a member of St Luke Lutheran Church, and, as married to an Episcopal priest, actively shares in “called to common mission” as a communing member of St James Episcopal Church in new York City (Manhattan).
