Ted Peters 

Ted Peters is Professor of Systematic Theology at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and the Graduate Theological Union. He serves as co-editor of the journal, Theology and Science, for the Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences. He is the author of Playing God? Genetic Determinism and Human Freedom (Routledge 2002); Science, Theology, and Ethics (Ashgate 2002); and The Stem Cell Debate (Fortress 2007). He is co-author with Karen Lebacqz and Gaymon Bennett of Sacred Cells? Why Christians Should Support Stem Cell Research (Roman and Littlefield, 2008). He currently serves on the Genetics Task Force for the ELCA and as a member of the Scientific and Medical Accountability Standards Working Group for the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine.
