Resolved
To thank the Northeastern Minnesota Synod for calling attention to the evil of sex trafficking and the obligation of members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America to resist it;

To urge members of this church to study and discuss the message “Commercial Sexual Exploitation” and to act to curb this industry;

To call on ELCA advocacy ministries and ELCA members to support international agreements and national laws to stop sex trafficking and to call for the will and the resources to enforce them; and

To request that the secretary of this church inform the synod of this action.
