Faith Lutheran Church
Faith Lutheran Church, organized in 1912 by the Norwegian Synod, was originally known as Faith of Montclare. The congregation constructed a building in 1916. Pastor Herman A. Preus opted not to join the Norwegian Synod merger into the Norwegian Lutheran Church of America in 1917, becoming part of the reorganized Norwegian Synod (aka "Little" Norwegian Synod), now Evangelical Lutheran Synod, in 1918. The congregation may have joined that body, as well, but it was not listed in the 1925 Lutheran Church Directory for Chicago and Vicinity.
