Immanuel Lutheran Church

Immanuel Norwegian Lutheran Church, a member of the Hauge's Synod, was organized in 1887. It constructed a facility at Maplewood Ave. and Cherry Place in 1890.
The congregation withdrew from The American Lutheran Church in 1964. It may have continued operating for some time after that, but no longer appears to be operating. As of 2005, Immanuel's former building at 2145 N. Maplewood was being used by the Vineyard Church of Humboldt Park.
