Nazareth Lutheran Church

Nazareth Lutheran Church, a member of the United Norwegian Lutheran Church, was organized in August 1896. A church building was built that year at the corner of Yale and 118th Streets in the West Pullman neighborhood of Chicago.
Nazareth shared pastors with Trinity Lutheran in South Chicago from Trinity's organization in 1900.
In 1928 the congregation moved to 649 W. 113th St. and in 1976 moved to 2750 W. 175th St. in Hazel Crest.
Membership records 1934-1978 are on film #799. Records prior to 1934 have been lost.
