Joy to the World
Joy to the World is a one-hour Christmas television special that was produced by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) for the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the U.S.A. and the Interfaith Broadcasting Commission. This special aired on the Hallmark Channel on Christmas Eve, 2006.
This holiday worship service included a joyful mix of music and praise from ELCA African American, American Indian, Arab and Middle Eastern, Asian, and Latino congregations. The rich and diverse cultural blend begins with a Santa Lucia celebration in the Swedish Lutheran tradition.
