Global Mission Events
All ELCA global events seek to equip participants to deepen their understanding of the changing context and practice of global mission, and to receive the gifts of Christians and churches around the world.
The national
Global Mission Events celebrate, challenge, share stories, and send us out inspired to serve the “other”. People of all ages come to receive the witness of international Christians, learn music and dance, gain ministry skills for mission, and enjoy fellowship together.
Sixty five Global Mission Events have been held all over the U.S. and Puerto Rico since the events began in 1975. More than 38,000 people have attended! The next GME will be in 2011. Visit this page again soon for dates and details.
