The ELCA Wittenberg Center can assist you in exploring the many study and learning opportunities available in the City of Wittenberg. In partnership with the
LWF Wittenberg Center and the
Colleg Wittenberg, the ELCA Wittenberg Center offers hospitality and learning opportunities available in the heart of the historic city of Martin Luther and in other Reformation sites. We can arrange:
- English language resources for pilgrims following in the footsteps of the Reformation

- Resources and references for scholars doing research on the Reformation and the Protestant Churches of Germany
- Hosting of groups from colleges, seminaries and congregations through the Colleg Wittenberg
The new
Colleg Wittenberg offers inexpensive lodging for up to 48 people. It has seminar rooms, a cafeteria, laundry facilities, bikes and other amenities. They will work with universities and seminaries to provide a quality educational experience. Find out more about studying in Wittenberg in this

Towards 2017: The 500th Anniversary of the Reformation
The Luther Decade, begun in 2008 by the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD), commemorates the events leading up to 2017, the year considered by many to be the birth of the Reformation. The EKD has planned annual themes throughout these years, culminating in special memorial events in 2017. See
the Luther Decade website for information centered around the themes and pilgrimages to the Reformation sites.
