Pollo, or chickens, are an important part of life in Honduras. It is found in the food they eat, as well as in their arts and crafts. You can make your own Honduran Paper Pollo.

Paper Pollo

Materials needed:

Yellow construction paper
Markers
Pencil
Stapler
Scissors

Using the pattern given, trace the pollo onto yellow construction paper and cut it out. Use markers to decorate the pollo. You can use the design shown, or make one of your own.

Bend the ends around to the back, overlap and staple.
