Prairie Lutheran Cnhurch is seeking a Children’s Ministry Assistant for the upcoming program year. This role includes developing and leading Wednesday night programming, lesson planning and volunteer recruitment for J.A.M. (children’s time during the sermon) and Sunday School support on Sunday mornings. Other duties include helping set up/tear down, welcoming all congregation members and participating in special Children’s Ministry events. This position reports directly to the Children’s Ministry Director and is approximately 10 hours, with the main hours being Sunday mornings (8:00-12:00pm) and Wednesday evenings (2:00-8:00pm). $10/hour. We are looking for someone with at least 2-years of ministry work experience or college- level class equivalent. This position requires at least a one ‘program year’ (May through May) time commitment.
