Training programs create and maintain a healthy and growing organization. The ELCA training program currently offers:
Basics
Anti-Racism Training - assists individuals to develop a common analysis and teach language to effectively address, confront, and dismantle racism. This training offers a comprehensive plan of action that includes developing awareness, knowledge, and skills in responding to racism.
New Employee Orientation - designed to introduce new hires to life, work, and employee benefits at the churchwide organization. It is required of all new employees.
Preventing Sexual Harassment - all employees are required to participate in a training focused on preventing sexual harassment.
Technology Courses - Various classes are offered by the ELCA Department for Technology on software and hardware.
The ELCA also offers their staff training, gatherings, and events to give them a specific skill or life enhancing experience.
