Our Mission
As a ministry of the ELCA, we share this church’s continuing mission to share God’s boundless love with the world.
We work toward accomplishing this in two ways:
- by providing investment opportunities to ELCA members, congregations and ELCA-related ministries, and
- by providing loans and supporting services to new and established ELCA congregations and related ministries.

What kind of loans?
The kind that help build the mission and ministry of the church -- the kind that truly make a difference. For example, capital funds to start a new congregation for a community that needs a place to gather and worship. Loans to replace a boiler, or expand a Sunday School classroom. Resources to start a soup kitchen, or other much-needed ministries in a community. Big or small, our loans help thousands of congregations and ELCA-related ministries accomplish their critical goals. And our building consultants and architects have the expertise to help those congregations see their projects through to completion, at no charge to the congregation or ministry.
