Building awareness -- or formation -- is the intentional activity of being shaped, like on a potter’s wheel. Ecumenical and inter-religious formation is the activity of crafting or shaping emerging leaders in the landscape of this work within the country and the world.
In ecumenical and inter-religious work, you are invited to seek new opportunities like those listed above. All opportunities require research and initiative in shaping and being shaped in your specific interests.
Members of a speakers' bureau organized by the ELCA Section for Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Relations are also happy to speak with or to your ministry context about formation and relations within the life of the church. Please contact us for further information.
