Consultative Panel on Lutheran-Muslim Relations
The Consultative Panel on Lutheran-Muslim Relations was formed in 2008 in order to enhance awareness and understanding of Muslims for those in Lutheran and ecumenical partner contexts.

Since that time, an increase in anti-Islamic and anti-Muslim sentiments in this country and the world has become a source of serious concern. The consultative panel is appointed by the presiding bishop of the ELCA, and is committed to an increase in understanding, awareness, action in the public interest, and sustained relationships with those in the Muslim community.
