On behalf of the ELCA News Service, I welcome you to the 2009 ELCA Churchwide Assembly. We are pleased you'll be working with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Newsrooms will be open by noon on Monday, Aug. 17. Most other days, newsrooms will be open by 8 a.m. Wired Internet connections are provided for your use. Each newsroom is equipped with a TV monitor with live audio and video from the plenary sessions. We are also planning to provide live audio and video of assembly news conferences on the Web.
