Stories of Inspiration
“What shall be our witness? What stories shall we tell?”
In his video, Presiding Bishop Mark S. Hanson invites synods, congregations and members to tell the stories of how they are doing God’s work with their hands.
Telling our stories isn’t bragging; it’s our witness to what God is doing through us and with us.
And through our storytelling we remember that we are united in sharing God’s love for the whole world in Jesus Christ.
Think about these questions:
- Where do you see God active in your life, your congregation, your community?
- Who is someone who inspires you in your faith?
- What’s your vision for your congregation? Synod? For the ELCA?
- What would help you become a stronger witness for Christ?
- How can your congregation help you become a stronger witness?
